Cold December
A kinetic type lyric video for Rod Wave’s “Cold December,” using motion and color to carry both the love and the sadness in the song.
The type does the storytelling. Each line gets its own treatment, from icy glowing letters to handwritten notes and lines that crack apart, so the words feel the way they sound. The palette moves between cold blues and hot reds to match the song’s swings between love and loss.
